About CAP

Introducing the CAP ProgramGarden City Hospital’s mission is to provide quality healthcare for our community. We measure our success by “the wellness factor” — how healthy you and your neighbors are. Today, healthcare is more expensive than ever. And that makes it tougher for you to stay healthy. We don’t want you to sacrifice your wellness because you’re worried about the bills.

That’s why Garden City Hospital has revolutionized healthcare pricing, to make it more affordable. Especially for people with no insurance. The easier it is for you to pay for services, the better your chances are for good health. Generation to generation. Now, with Community Assistance Pricing™ (CAP), you don’t have to choose between your family’s health and your budget. None of us can afford to delay quality care. It’s
all about good health — for you, our community and
Garden City Hospital.

How CAP helpsDuring tough economic times, many people decide to put off procedures because they can’t afford them. That hurts the health of our community. Delaying a medical exam or screening could be dangerous — even cost you your life. Garden City Hospital invented the CAP program so you don’t have to choose between your health and other necessities. Now you may qualify to save 40% to 80% on many medical services and procedures.

There are two ways to participate in this program:
    1. Pay in advance of your appointment
    2. Pay at the time services are provided

For your convenience, Garden City Hospital accepts most debit and credit cards, checks and cash.
*There may be a few additional fees for professional services.

Emergency Dept. – 'Capping' your costs We understand. The last thing you need to worry about when you arrive for emergency medical care — is how much it will cost. That’s why Garden City Hospital also offers Community Assistance Pricing (CAP) in our Emergency Department (ED).

If you pay the same day you’re treated, we’ll "CAP" your ED charge at $300.00* — no matter what emergency services you receive or tests and procedures you have. You could save hundreds of dollars on each ED visit.
