Garden City Hospital recognizes that good health takes planning, information and support, and offers a variety of classes developed to enhance fitness and wellness. Unless otherwise noted, classes take place at Garden City Hospital.

All Garden City Hospital fitness classes take place in the Health Enhancement Center Gym, located on first floor of Garden City Hospital. Free parking is available in the hospital’s surface-level parking lot. For more information or to register for a fitness class, call 734-458-3242.

Get Up and Move   
This invigorating exercise program gets participants up and moving, and is the perfect complement to a diet program. These classes will help you to make an easy transition back to an exercise program or help you get started for the first time. Fee is $30 per month.

Monitored Exercise Classes
Heart disease, diabetes and other health concerns shouldn't limit your ability to exercise. Every weekday, Garden City Hospital’s Health Enhancement Center, located inside Garden City Hospital, offers exercise classes for specifically designed for patients with cardiac concerns, peripheral vascular disease, and diabetes. These classes are presented and monitored by Certified Exercise Physiologists and conducted in a safe, supportive environment where individual needs are the focus. Strength and Stretch
This is a non-aerobic exercise class designed to help you strengthen and define your muscles, as well as increase your flexibility. Each class will combine a variety of equipment, including free weights, medicine balls, balance balls, and Therabands in order to isolate and tone each of the major muscle groups. Fee is $30 per month.

Learn how to relax, stretch and breathe while creating balance, strength and flexibility for both the body and mind. This four-week session is $32.
